![]() ![]() Just pick a ware from a list and script will show you availability on all known factories with sattelite coverage.Īll above are basically an absolute minimum of musthave mods for vanilla play, without them game not worth launching :)Ħ) Complex Cleaner for when your complexes start to get real big, and Perfomance tubes dont help anymore No more painful shuffling trough sectors on map and encyclopedia in a search of Ion Shard Railgun factory that actually has cannons for sale. also contains 4 mini-plotsģ)Perfomance tubes - either completely removes or uses lower-poly model for factory complex tubes, so your factory complexes dont kill your fps when complex gets big.Ĥ) MARS - firecontrol script for turrets, mostly useful for capital ships.ĥ) Universal best buy/sell - nice script that helps find needed wares in explored sectors with a satellite present. All plots from TC and AP are included and placed in chronological order (so AP war wont start before you complete TC plots)Ģ) X-Missions reloaded - provides an interesting and better alternative to generic missions. XRM is interesting, but it changes way too much, so if you want to experience game in more or less vanilla state, then you probably should avoid it.įor ultimate vanilla experience I recommend to use following mods:ġ)TC for AP plots - play Terran Conflict plots on an imporved AP engine. The fact that they have been around since X2 doesnt mean they werent imporved and updated overtime.Īs for the OP, that depends on what sort of game experience you want. Also I wouldnt call bonus pack mods outdated, yes they are old but they do their job done and there is no real alternative to some of them, like CLS for example. Lucike mods can be considered equally outdated. ![]() Try Lucike's mod collection which can help you to run your trade empire more efficiently. I suppose i have to run it evey now and then in order for new ships to update.Originally posted by Destin Faroda:The bonus package lacks the best mods and it is extremely outdated. I've already made a script that sets both notoriety and relations for all stations and ships in the universe, it seems to work. Theres an example of this in the Improved Races 2.0 relations preset scripts. They wont reset, but simply setting the relations isnt good enough - you need to iterate through every ship in the universe and update its relation set or the new relations wont take effect untill all the ships die and respawn. Currently even the Xenon ignore them.pirate I sorta get, but not Xenon! They could safely colonise the sectors taken over by OCV! I admit, I have thought about giving Phanon Corp some enemies other than me. Things generally settle down once the player leaves. ONLY for that Sector however and only when the player is there. However, in my current game, sometime the Pirate piss off the Teladi and full out war ensues. I have in the past set Teladi and Pirates to mutual enemies - quite funny to see the fireworks kick off. The question still remains, will god reset them if i change relations? and i see them roaming through teladi sectors not getting shot at. ![]() However, I've never managed to befriend with pirates (I mean, even with a notoriety at 1M, they are still enemies to me). Joubarbe : race relations and notoriety are the same as Vanilla. ![]()
